Club Captain - Tracy Edmonds

I am happy to be representing you all for the coming year and to be an ambassador for our great golf club.

Our club goes from strength to strength and I am looking forward to working with Sally Weaver Ladies Captain, Tony Seely Senior Captain and Zach Summers Junior Captain.

Good luck to all our teams in their forthcoming season in scratch, handicap and friendly matches across the County and beyond.

The Board & Committee

As a members Golf Club, you are fortunate that we are run by a board and committee of your elected members, all of whom have the best interests of the Golf Club at heart, unlike other clubs in the area which are commercial concerns and have different priorities.

A new committee takes office following the club AGM at the end of March and holds regular meetings from throughout the year and run specific aspects of the Club.

Competitions

The club holds a series of Mens & Ladies knockout matches for both single and double players as well as the regular Medal and Stableford competitions. There is also a 36 hole club championship match played annually. All full members are entitled to enter any of these competitions and you can be sure you will be made welcome - whatever your handicap. You will need to play three qualifying competitions per year in order to maintain your handicap.

Opens

The club hosts several open competitions, these are open to all players, with a current handicap, irrespective of which club they belong to and attract players from all over the UK and Ireland, the fame of our course spreads wide and far.

Entry forms and online booking can be found

Open Day

We host an annual Open Day where all of the family are welcome to come along and enjoy the facilities of the club. There is also an annual Men's invitation where you are encouraged to bring along your golfing buddies and challenge them to beat our course. We are keen to encourage new members and also showcase the quality of both our course and clubhouse. We do think that our greens are probably the best in Shropshire and maybe the entire West Midlands.

Friendlies

Here at Bridgnorth we play a series of Mens & Ladies friendlies with our local rivals, these are as the name suggests friendlies, and we welcome you to come along and try out the facilities at other courses.

Matches are generally held during the week, and if you are interested in playing please let our Club Captain or Ladies Captain know.

Fun

Bridgnorth Golf Club is not all about handicaps and competitions, we have a regular series of fun competitions to try and lighten the spirit, there is a very active social life organised round our lovely clubhouse with Quiz nights enlivening the dull winter nights and Barbecues on the patio in the summer. Set in a lovely peaceful location you can relax and enjoy just being there whatever the weather - and the coffee is lovely!

SafeGolf

Bridgnorth Golf Club is proud and honoured to be recognised as meeting the requirements of the SafeGolf accreditation.

This is an externally audited statement of the club's intentions to offer a safe and organised environment and be able to support the needs of adults, juniors of all abilities.
